Effective June 9, 2025, new U.S. visa regulations apply to Haitian travelers. However, all immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, including B1/B2, issued on or before June 9, 2025 remain valid and are not affected. The changes apply only to those without a valid visa as of that date. We urge all passengers to verify their status before travel. Learn more at: https://www.whitehouse.gov
A new protocol for Haitian nationals has been authorized by the Immigration and Passport Department, the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Below are the requirements to be included in the application letter.
Effective May 19, 2025, the baggage allowance on all domestic flights will be 15 kg per passenger. Any baggage exceeding this limit must be shipped via cargo services, and additional fees will apply.
Exception:
Passengers traveling on international routes, or between Cap-Haïtien and Port-au-Prince, are allowed one piece of checked baggage weighing up to 23 kg.
Please be advised that only the baggage included in the ticket fare allowance will be accepted on flights to Les Cayes. All extra baggage must now be transported via our Courier service. This applies to all passengers, including those connecting through Cap-Haïtien. Excess baggage must be taken directly to the Courier office for shipment. All applicable fees are to be settled by the passenger.
